How to make tea

Teas are a really nice way to be able to get your herbs in your body.

Best of all, they’re quick and simple.

First off, you want to decide what herbs you want to use.

Upset Stomach? Allergies? Asthma?

These are all things that can be remedied with the right herbs.

Don’t worry if they’re freshly picked, or dry as a bone. Steeping for the recommended amount of time will bring out the herbs medicinal qualities.

Let’s get started!

STEP 1. BREAK UP

Take your herbs and break them up with your fingers while dropping them into your tea pot.

No special measurements required here, if you want it to be strong, put in more, want it weaker, put in less.

STEP 2. POUR

Pour hot water into your tea pot.

You don’t need to fill your tea pot up here, just enough to make a cup of tea.

STEP 3. STEEP

Simple steep your herbs in the hot water for 10 minutes.

Some people will say to steep for 3 minutes. But, if you really want to maximize the medicinal properties of the herbs, leave it in for 10 minutes.

STEP 4. POUR

Pour tea into your mug.

If you want to add sweetener, I recommend raw honey.

Full of nutrients in itself.

However, if you’re doing intermittent fasting or keto skip any additions and drink it raw.

STEP 5. ENJOY

Enjoy.

One of the great things about tea is it gives you a chance to slow down.

Take a break. Sit out on your porch. Unplug from your phone.

It can be just as healing as the tea itself.

Drink up!
